ETSA Park Stadium is getting rocked to it's foundations Saturday February 26th, as WMC and ISKA Heavyweight world champion Paul Slowinski fights American WBC world champion Steve Banks. After their heavyweight fight of the year in 2011 at Knees Of Fury 34, event promoter Ethan Shepp has decided to fulfill the flood of fan requests for a re-match. Banks has agreed to the re-match and is eagerly awaiting his opportunity for revenge, in one of the most anticipated heavyweight match-up's of 2012. In the nights co-main event, Australian Jr Middlewight champion Kym Johnson takes an enormous step up in his young career to face Iranian champion and world #5 Mostafa Abdollahi. A win for Kym here would put him within reach of world champions.
Knees Of Fury 36 has one of the deepest cards of any promotion in 2012, filling the rest of the main card and undercard with international, national and state champions. The other featured co-headliner bouts rounding out the main card include Australian champion Charles August taking on Kiwi champ Ra Jonathon, along with South Australian champion Steve Behan against one of New Zealand's best pound for pound up & coming talents Israel Adesanya.
With two colossal main event showdowns headlining the night, along with international and interstate battles across seven weight classes, this event is set to be the most entertaining night of fight’s Adelaide has ever seen.
